House Rules

Welcome to Constantia View Apartments. We hope you enjoy your stay with us.

• Fees are payable in advance. Additional nights are to be paid upfront.
• Smoking in apartments is strictly forbidden and you will be held liable for damages
if you smoke in the rooms. You are however welcome to smoke in the garden or
5m away from the house.
• No drugs, firearms or illegal substances to be brought onto the premises.
• No visitors are allowed for the safely and security of the establishment and other
guests, unless by prior arranged with the management.
• Only residing guests that have been pre booked and paid for, are allowed to sleep
over. Unbooked guests may be asked to leave at the owner's discretion. A penalty
of 100% of the overnight fee will be charged if this is ignored.
• No pets allowed.
• Guests must behave in a manner conducive to the safety, peace and comfort of
other guests. Making loud noise is not acceptable.
• Heaters, fans televisions and lights should be switched off if the room is not
occupied.
• Heaters, hair dryers, kettles, toasters, air fryers or microwaves can’t be used during
load shedding hours as the inverter system can’t cope. Please download the
relevant Eskom App for load shedding hours.
• Arrival time: Any time after 3pm and before 9pm. Departure time: Before 10am.
• Please remember to hand in keys on departure. Failure to do so will result in a
replacement cost penalty.
• Please report any damages on arrival to the owner or manager.
• Breakages and damages to the property will be charged at the current replacement
value.
• Use of electrical appliances other than those supplied in the room is subject to
permission being obtained from the manager
• Please note that cleaning and gardening staff will not accept instructions from
guests. Please contact the manager for assistance.
• Constantia View, the owner and management is not liable for any damages, theft or
injury. Please secure and insure your own valuables.
• Should you wish to use the alarm provided in each room, kindly ask the manager/
owner for your alarm code. See details on activation in the brochure.

• Parking for vehicles is at your own risk. One inside bay per apartment is available.
• Please make sure that gates are closed after entering or leaving the premises.
• The manager reserves the right to evict anyone misbehaving or disobeying the
above house rules with immediate effect.
